I won’t give you the play by play of my trip…I will tell you THIS. Phoenix is, without a doubt, the prettiest city I’ve visited in the US. I love me some California but Arizona is holding their shit DOWN.
So, they let me PICK whichever rental I wanted and I must have blacked out or something ‘cause all of the sudden I was on hwy 10 in THIS:
Don’t ask me why little Ms. SUV picked the teeniest car available…I must have thought, “GO CARTS! FUN!” and just gone with it. So as I cruised to the resort I was SUPER SAFE and started taking photos with my camera phone out the window…Here is my resort from the exit ramp:
Ya’ll…it was BOMB. I mean nothing but miles of desert and mountains surrounding the entire thing. I felt like I was on the set of Hey Dude!
So…yeah, the hotel was attached to a Casino. MY FIRRRRST actual Casino. It was massive…here’s a shot from the food court.
Speaking of Food Court. When I wasn’t doubling down or being super profesh in my meetings…I was stuffing my face with eating at FatBurger. Also my first time…WHY DON’T THEY HAVE THESE PLACES IN THE SOUTH??? Does everyone else have Fatburger? TUMBLR??
Uhm…that pretty much sums it up. Wish I’d had my ACTUAL camera so I could show you the amazing scenery and desert that was around me…but alas, I solely photographed fast food and room service, afterall what is Tumblr if not a bunch of foodies?!
PS- Phoenix airport is the WORST. It smells terrible and has like ONE bar. Unacceptable. Dirty. Not a fan. Here’s the best part of PHX International:

there was a fatburger in the burbs here, I went once, was pretty unimpressed, and it closed after about a year. Oh well they tried lol.
