I grew up in Winston-Salem, NC. Born and raised (until I moved to Raleigh at 18). It’s home of the Camel Cigarette, the infamous concert venue Ziggy’s, and Wake Forest University. Great place to grow up…absolutely impossible to ever picture myself there now. Again. Ever.
5 Desert Island DVDs? (I don’t know if you know this about me…but my collection is almost at 500…I’m a DVD/Movie PSYCHO…kinda scary. But they aren’t alphabetized or anything like that…I haven’t quite become certifiable). So, off the top of my head:
1- Empire Records
2- Almost Famous (or Untitled…which is Crowe’s uncut version)
3- Across the Universe
4- The Labyrinth or The Goonies (that would be a hard call)
5- Dream for an Insomniac….ooo, or Shag….shit. I can’t pick.
…sorry, only half assed that answer—-movies are tough for me!
